Psssssstttt ... click here to go to the Grand Opening Giveaway post where you can enter to win great prizes all this week!

Pick Five Monday is a quick pick of five quilting bee blocks from our Flickr pool that have stood out to me in one way or another.  They could be from last summer or last week- if you've got a block in the Flickr pool you could be featured one week!  It's a way for me to showcase some of the terrific blocks from our group that you may have missed.  Of course, all credit for the photos goes to the applicable Flickr member and credit for the individual block idea and fabric choice goes to the block recipient.

Here's my five for this week:

Spiderweb block for Ritapizza

I love this spiderweb block made by flossyblossy, the colors are cheerful and happy and very scrappy - which I adore.  This quilt is going to look amazing all put together - especially with that turquoise in the middle whitespace!

ATB - block 4 for Sheridan

How cute is this tennis player fabric?!  And I love how thornberry outlined it in the tiny square border.  Great way to show off an amazing print!

Big Scrappy

I love all things rainbow-y and this block certainly fits the bill!  This is also going to make for a very striking and fun quilt.  Plus who says blocks have to be square?  John made this block 14"x18".

9 Patch for Kathryn

On the complete other end of the spectrum - how pretty is this simple block by pricklypearbloom?  9 patches are always lovely, but paired with this simple and pretty fabric it's really gorgeous!

November Block for Ten Make Two

Last but not least is this beautiful string block from byneedleandthread. Love the colors! A string block quilt is one of those quilts that a bee is excellent at helping you get done - it's a lot of paper piecing!
