Blocks In Fun Places

While most of the time our bee blocks seem to stay in our sewing rooms or wherever our sewing machines may reside in our homes, occasionally I'll notice a block that has wandered somewhere fun to get its photograph taken for our Flickr group!
Sewtakeahike's cute Ice Cream block wanted to be by these gorgeous purple flowers (can you blame him?!)
meganalayne's pretty plum blocks found their way outside on the line blowing in the breeze!
John's gorgeous gray block took a little rest outside on his deck (seems like lots of his blocks like to take a siesta on his deck! ;) )
Darci's awesome elephant just couldn't wait to get outside for a little swing in her tree.
Tweedledee Designs' gorgeous block was just begging to go play with the flowers for a little while (and doesn't it just look at home there?!)
And Saidos da Concha's block full out went on vacation to the beach! Snagged his own sand chair and everything!
Does this inspire you to get out and take more pictures of your blocks or quilts in the outdoors? The natural sunlight always makes the colors and fabrics seem happier and brighter to me!

Thanks for including my blocks! The hubz keeps threatening to take down the ratty old clothesline, but I keep voicing vehement objections. How am I supposed to take pics for the blog without a clothesline?!? I'll have to start looking for more spots around the yard, I suppose.
i try to take pictures of my quilt tops and completed quilts outside in my tree. the light is always so much better...plus, the wind can catch them. :)
Love to know how you made the ice cream cone block.
oh thanks for including my block! How fun! I wanted to photograph them all with the flowers, but I was too impatient to do that. LOL.
